The Challenge
When we started this project, hotels still relied on massive Excel sheets to handle their static content like room types, descriptions, amenities, policies, and other metadata. These processes were slow, prone to human error, and difficult to scale across multiple booking platforms. The absence of a standardized system for hotel attributes, combined with the lack of APIs for major online travel agencies (OTAs), presented a significant challenge.
Furthermore, managing more than 1,500 frequently changing attributes across properties made consistency difficult to maintain. Every update required manual work, further delaying go-to-market timelines.

Reshape Digital developed a robust platform that allows hotel teams to manage and distribute their static content from a single location. The application was designed with flexibility at its core, with a dynamic data structure that supports thousands of hotel attributes, allowing users to create, modify, and reorganize fields without reengineering the system. This flexibility made it easy to update content, create new fields, and rearrange UI components based on configuration, significantly speeding up iteration and adaptation.
No API? No problem. We automated distribution with RPA.
To distribute content, the platform integrates and allows partners to pull data directly from the system’s public API or connects directly with OTA partners based on their APIs. In cases where APIs were not available, we developed a robotic process automation (RPA) workflow to simulate human interaction and data updates. This hybrid strategy ensured maximum automation coverage across all channels.
Tech Stack
The tech stack includes a C#/.NET backend and an Angular frontend, supporting a robust, responsive application experience. We built a modular microservices architecture deployed on AWS, using ECS Fargate for on-demand job execution and ECS Standard for long-running microservices, ensuring system stability and cost-efficient scalability. Our team designed a fast, secure CI/CD pipeline with multiple environments, enabling rapid deployment and frequent updates without disruption. These automated pipelines streamline delivery across development stages, while custom robotic process automation (RPA) bridges integration gaps with platforms lacking native API support, further enhancing content distribution efficiency. - Positioned the client for long-term expansion, with new distribution channels, ongoing automation, and closer collaboration with OTA partners for API development.

The project continues to grow, with additional OTA integrations and increased automation capabilities. We're also collaborating with booking platforms to expand API coverage and further streamline the content update lifecycle, empowering hospitality brands with greater control, speed, and scalability.
