Powering Community Growth for Web3 with Zesh

The Challenge

Zesh’s goal was to provide early-stage Web3 projects with tools to grow and engage their communities directly inside platforms like Telegram. Building this required navigating a highly dynamic environment where speed, scalability, and UX were critical. We were challenged to create an embedded experience that could run smoothly within Telegram’s Mini App framework, while also integrating decentralized logic through smart contracts across multiple EVM-compatible chains, including Skale Network. Additionally, Zesh needed robust, secure Escrow Smart Contracts and integration with external platforms such as X (formerly Twitter) to validate user activity and drive reward distribution.

Our Solution

We kicked off the collaboration with a discovery and planning phase, working closely with the Zesh team to align on product vision, user experience, and technical architecture. Our goal was to deliver a multi-layered solution that balanced Web3 complexity with smooth, intuitive engagement, built for rapid iteration and scalability in a fast-moving market.

One of the core components was the development of a responsive, lightweight Telegram Mini App. This served as the main entry point for users, allowing them to participate in community activities, connect their wallets, and engage with gamified experiences, all within the familiar Telegram interface. We paid special attention to performance, optimizing for fast load times and seamless transitions, even when embedding Unity-based mini-games inside the constrained Telegram environment.

“The Web Portal gives project teams control, insight, and real-time campaign management.”

Alongside the Mini App, we built a browser-based Web Portal that acts as the admin and configuration layer for Web3 projects. This portal allows community managers to launch campaigns, manage rewards, and monitor activity in real time. On the blockchain side, we developed a set of EVM-compatible smart contracts, including Escrow Contracts that ensure funds are securely held and released only when community engagement criteria are met, reinforcing trust and transparency within the ecosystem.

To help Zesh integrate social signals and track user actions beyond the blockchain, we also conducted detailed technical work around the X (Twitter) API, enabling the system to monitor user interactions, such as follows or reposts, and tie them to on-chain actions and incentives. The entire platform was built using a modern stack, including React, Solidity, web3.js, wagmi, and the Telegram Mini Apps SDK, ensuring flexibility and compatibility with EVM chains and the Skale Network.
