As part of a long-term partnership with a global hospitality technology provider, Reshape Digital designed and developed a fully custom Digital Assets Library platform, tailored specifically for the needs of hotel chains, marketing teams, and regional brand managers. Built from the ground up, the platform centralizes access to approved brand assets across hotel properties worldwide, offering intuitive content discovery, user group access control, and advanced download and packaging features. From design and architecture to implementation and infrastructure, we delivered a performant, scalable solution that now powers the digital asset management for hundreds of hotels, supporting collaboration across teams, regions, and third-party stakeholders.

The Challenge
Hospitality brands manage a high volume of visual and marketing assets, ranging from hotel photos and videos to logos, brand guides, and regional campaign materials. Existing solutions were either fragmented, overly generic, or lacked the flexibility to meet the unique organizational and access needs of hotel groups.
The client needed a platform that could offer precise access control, ensuring users could only view assets related to their assigned properties and regions. It had to support downloads in multiple sizes and formats, while also enabling internal and external sharing with full control over what was included and how it was packaged. With thousands of media files across global hotel brands, intuitive navigation and logical organization were essential. Just as critical was the need for robust tagging, categorization, and metadata visibility tailored to hospitality standards. The solution had to be brand-aligned, scalable, and easy to use for both internal teams and third-party collaborators, without sacrificing performance or flexibility.
Our Solution
Reshape Digital took a clean-slate approach, leading design, architecture, and implementation of the Digital Assets Library from scratch. Our goal was to deliver a platform that was not just functional, but intuitive, performant, and tailored to the real-world needs of hospitality brands.
We built the frontend in Angular for a fast, dynamic user experience and developed a robust .NET 6 API backend to manage content, access control, and tagging. The system supports user groups configured by region, allowing each organization or brand group to access only the properties they’re authorized to manage. Hotels are organized into logical folders, and users can browse, filter, and download content by type, size, and tag, ensuring teams only see what’s relevant.

A key feature is the custom download package builder, which allows users to select and package media in different sizes, including original, web, and thumbnail formats, and generate shareable links or zip downloads for media, press, and stakeholder use. Cropping, metadata display, and hospitality-specific tagging add a layer of precision and control to the experience.
Under the hood, the platform is powered by a scalable AWS infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines to support fast, secure deployments. Designed for longevity and ease of use, the system is ready to serve thousands of users across multiple global regions.
